Hite Fiahing Report

We fished hite 25-28. Fishing was really slow these days. Saw smaller boils early in the morning and late in the evening. The boils were scattered from white all the way down to Red Canyon. The best boils seemed to be in the mouth of Trachyte canyon, the fish in these boils were nice and fat, average of three to five plus pounds. I think they would have been boiling a hell of let better if we didn't have a full moon the whole time. Seems to me when there is a full moon the stripers seem to feed all night long and then nothing during the day. I didn't get a chance to fish much for bass of walleye, because if we weren't chasing boils we were swimming. The water was great and just another awesome trip at powell.
